Traveler's Rest Review

Traveler's Rest is a difficult book to review for me. It seems like each day I have a different opinion on it because the story moved me in so many different directions. Each of the characters pulls you into their individual stories and then weaves themselves together. Jane's fiance returns from the war in Iraq paralyzed and they try to navigate the loss of the life they thought they were going to share. Along the way they each meet people who help them through their grief in some very unexpected ways and take them in even more unexpected directions. The only way I can describe Traveler's Rest is to call it a heartbreaking story of hope. Bethany House Publishers provided me a copy of this book to review, but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations and thoughts while reading this novel.
